3. Battery string grouping scheme

24 2V1000Ah tubular colloidal lead-acid batteries are connected in series to form a cluster, equipped with a battery monitoring module.

14 clusters of battery packs are connected in series to form a set of battery pack units, equipped with a battery pack control unit

Three groups of battery units are independently divided into two circuits and connected to a bipolar single-stage 500KW PCS to form a group of energy storage units, equipped with a DC power distribution cabinet. Battery management system BMU, 500KW, PCS


The above grouping scheme fully considers the problem of circulating current when multiple groups of batteries are connected in parallel, and also fully considers the main carrying capacity of the system wiring. The battery cluster is connected by copper bars with a carrying capacity of 500A, which meets the operating requirements of the system. Copper wire connection is used for connection, and the carrying capacity is 500A. The system is designed with multi-level switch protection, which is convenient for wiring and system control.


Copper bar connection, the overall stability is good, which may reduce the loosening of the terminal due to vibration and other reasons during the subsequent operation. In addition, full-sheath copper bars and insulated terminal caps are used for protection to improve the safety insulation level of the battery pack. The figure below shows the overall connection scheme of the energy storage system, and the battery packs are internally connected by copper bars. The battery pack is connected to the DC power distribution cabinet through cables, and the cables enter the DC power distribution cabinet through the cable trench at the bottom. The weak current wiring of the BMS system is separated from the DC line to reduce interference. The weak current line is led to the DC power distribution cabinet through an iron line tube or a shielded cable is used.
