4.3 BMS system protection mode 1. BMS for energy storage, PCS and background have data communication. The communication method with PCS is Ethernet or RS485, and the background monitoring is Ethernet. The communication protocols used are Modbus or IEC61850 (Optional), to ensure that when the communication between BMS and PCS is abnormal, the BMS, battery, and background can work normally, and the battery and BMS can run normally. 2. The BMS of the battery management system and the background communication adopt the standard Modbus protocol or IEC61850 (optional), which has high performance, high reliability, and real-time communication capabilities, and has multiple error detection methods to ensure the uploading of huge data volumes and the issuance of instructions accuracy and timeliness. 3. The BMS communicates with the PCS through Ethernet (RS485) and two hard contacts to ensure that the battery pack is shut down in time when a serious failure occurs. 4.4 BMS system communication scheme The capacity of the entire energy storage system is 28MWh; the system consists of 14 PCS battery units, and the system uses 2V/1000Ah lead-acid monomer batteries. The energy storage system uses 336 2V/1000Ah battery packs connected in series to form a battery unit, and three sets of batteries are connected in parallel to form a battery unit. The capacity of each battery unit is 3MWh, that is, 336 units×2V×1000Ah×3=; The module supports 24 single cells, and 336 cells require 336/24=14 modules; the cumulative total capacity of 14 battery cells in the entire energy storage system is ×14=; the common efficiency of the energy storage inverter is 92% to 95% , so the actual capacity of the entire energy storage is ×=, and the structure is as follows:

The system uses three sets of batteries connected in parallel on the DC side to connect to a single-stage 500KW PCS. The function diagram of the battery cluster connected to the PCS is as follows:

The total capacity of the energy storage system is 336 knots x 2V x 1000Ah x 3 groups x 14PCS x 92% =. Composed of mature bidirectional inverters (PCS) on the market, the entire system is uniformly controlled by the background, and the battery is installed vertically on a battery rack.
